Here’s yet another fabulous filly by the sire Sam Steele.  With elegant, feminine features, Shanel is sure to capture attention. Her movement is no less impressive, with a lofty, ground covering trot, reaching but balanced canter, and correct walk that will earn her excellent scores in the dressage ring.

She should mature to around 16.2-16.3, making her a suitable size for most riders. Shanel is good with clippers, vacuuming, braiding, grooming, and picking up her feet for the farrier. Shanel has top quality bloodlines, even if they are more towards the jumper lines.  Her sire, Same Steele was 2^nd place in his performance test out of 43 stallions in his testing.  He scored a 141.14 for rideability, and 139.76 in jumping. He has produced a number of outstanding offspring, including many champions in dressage, jumpers and hunters.  He is especially adept at producing top quality mares, having a number of them achieve Elite Mare status with the Hanoverian Society. 

Shanel’s Damsire, Magic, is equally versatile in producing offspring that excel in dressage and jumping. Like Sam Steele, he’s also listed as producing an extremely high number of top quality Elite mares. Coming in Reserve Champion at his performance testing, Magic was 1^st in the jumping and 2^nd for rideability.
