Please consider sponsoring Sean!

Sean Cunningham, of STC Dressage, LLC, is seeking sponsorship to achieve his competitive goals in 2011 and beyond. Training for an opportunity to represent the United States of America internationally in competition requires significant resources.

To train and compete seriously on a national level costs in excess of $10,000 per horse, per year, on average. Training and competing on an international level increases those costs to, and sometimes in excess of, $50,000 per horse, per year. It is nearly impossible for any rider to achieve results without financial and in-kind assistance which can come in several forms. They are:

  • Corporate Sponsorship
  • Individual Sponsorship
  • Product/Service Sponsorship
  • Horse Sponsorship

Curious about what you are helping Sean achieve? Here’s a list of our current goals, both through the year and farther down the road. Of course, they are constantly evolving, and we’ll add more as they come up and check off those that we achieve. No amount of support is too small in helping achieve all of these goals.

How you can help:

  1. Campaign your horse: do you have exciting upper level prospect who needs to be ridden and shown by a caring, top-class professional? Sean would be honored to help.
  2. Direct financial contribution to the cause: Sean seeks financial support to train with Hilda Gurney, Bronze Medalist, 1984 Olympic Team.
  3. In-kind services: Barn space for training, products, apparel, equipment, anything to defray the cost of supporting an  international dressage career.

For more complete information on each type of sponsorship, including what they offer in return, please see the Sponsorship Opportunities document.

Specific Goals for the next 12-24 months:

  • Continue traveling regularly to California to work with Hilda Gurney, both on my own and with my training horses.  Accomplished with relocation to California!!!
  • Acquire a horse, or several horses, of International quality for purposes of competing
  • Compete the horse(s) in CDI events around the country in non-championship years
  • Qualify to compete as a member of the US Team and/or individually in the 2012 World Cup Final, the 2014 World Equestrian Games, the 2015 Pan-American Games, and the 2016 Olympics.

The support of sponsors makes all the difference. Sean is deeply grateful to his loyal advertisers, friends and sponsors who return each year, and would like to invite new individuals and companies to support the success of STC Dressage, LLC.
